Foreign Students Attend Government Awareness Lectures at Amur State Medical Academy
Foreign students of all courses attended a course of lectures from representatives of ministries
Konstantin Gennadyevich Borodovitsyn, Detective for Particularly Important Cases of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Amur Region, told foreign students of the Amur State Medical Academy about the criminal liability that occurs for drug use, drug trafficking, as well as the harm of drugs to the human body.
He also noted that the responsibility for foreign citizens who violate the law has become tougher. Now, if there are two administrative violations, such foreigners are expelled from the country and receive a ban on entry into the territory of the Russian Federation for a period of two to 10 years.
Alexandra Alexandrovna Gorkusha, Leading Consultant of the Department of National Policy of the Ministry of Culture and National Policy of the Amur Region, told the children about the new adaptation program offered by the Ministry of Culture for foreign students.
Alexandra Alexandrovna drew attention to difficult cases of adaptation, when children, not knowing the cultural values of Russia, began to adapt their customs and traditions on the territory of the Russian Federation, which led to conflict situations. The leading consultant also recalled that citizens of foreign countries who have been staying in Russia for a long time are required to know the Russian language, traditions, values, legislation, and the foundations of the constitutional system.
The meeting was organized by Elena Nikolaevna Maslova, Head of the International Relations Department of the Amur State Medical Academy.
