Representatives of the Amur State Medical Academy conducted career guidance work among schoolchildren in the city of Svobodny
Employees of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics, Radiation Therapy with a course of oncology of the Amur State Medical Academy continue career guidance work among schoolchildren in the city of Svobodny. A team of specialists consisting of Associate Professor of the Department Olga Viktorovna Lysenko, Assistant Yulia Viktorovna Skabelkina and activists of the student club "Lancet" Valeria Khotulyova and Semyon Mikhin held a meeting with students of grades 9-11 of schools No 192, 9, 2 and 1.
"Specialists told future applicants about the glorious history of the Amur State Medical Academy, highlighted in detail the features of education, the activities of the student government of the academy. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of the medical specialty in our region, the ability of young specialists to engage in scientific, cultural, educational, volunteer activities," said Olga Viktorovna Lysenko.
At school No1 in the city of Svobodny, the children were told about the conditions for admission to the Amur State Medical Academy in 2026, the formation of targeted admission, the possibility of continuing postgraduate training within the walls of the academy, stimulating support for young doctors.
The chief physician of the Svobodny Hospital Nina Vasilyevna Lesik spoke to the schoolchildren. Given the serious role of the city of Svobodny in the socio-economic development of the Far Eastern Federal District, the head of the Svobodny Hospital outlined the prospects for the development of the city's health care and the need for medical personnel.
The site brought together schoolchildren planning further education in the Free Medical Class created by the Amur State Medical Academy and the Department of Education of the city administration. The head of the Department of Education of the city of Svobodny, Vitaly Vladimirovich Bulygin, noted the important role of such career guidance meetings.
"During the meeting, a roadmap for the work of the medical class and a program to popularize education in the Amur State Medical Academy among schoolchildren of Svobodny were outlined. The participation of children in the "Open Day" of the Amur State Medical Academy on March 27, Olympiads in chemistry, biology and emergency conditions will make it possible to form a career-oriented contingent of students who are future doctors in the future," Olga Viktorovna added.
In total, more than 230 schoolchildren took part in the events.
