Medical Accreditation in Russia Enters Practical Assessment Stage for MBBS Graduates

July 3, 2026

Graduates of the Amur State Medical Academy have started the second stage of primary accreditation. It takes place on the basis of the Accreditation and Simulation Center. The skills of young professionals are assessed by an accreditation commission, which consists of representatives of healthcare practitioners.

"This is a final test of the knowledge and skills acquired by graduates, after which they receive the right to work as doctors. During the practice-oriented stage, students demonstrate their skills at practical stations," said Sergey Vasilyevich Khodus, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Emergency Medical Care of the Amur State Medical Academy, Head of the Accreditation and Simulation Center.

For graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, the work of five stations is organized, at each of which future doctors will have various tasks. You are given 10 minutes to pass each station. After this stage of accreditation, graduates will have the final block — solving situational problems.
