To date, only 17 simulation centers in Russia have the third (highest) level of accreditation.

Accreditation improves the quality of training of medical and pharmaceutical personnel in educational institutions. Based on the results of the analysis of its activities, the Center is assigned a qualification level, issued a certificate and a package of documents containing recommendations from the country's leading experts for further development.

Simulation and certification centers of the III level carry out:

– preparation and conduct of objective certification of medical and pharmaceutical workers in accredited educational programs using simulation educational technologies;

– development, validation and implementation of standards and teaching tools using simulation educational technologies;

– development of technologies for simulation training, creation of research and production laboratories and small innovative enterprises in order to provide simulation and certification and simulation centers with consumables;

– placement, maintenance and regular updating of software, databases and archives of video materials on a single server of the All-Russian Simulation Training System and providing free access to it for students and teachers implementing simulation training programs.

Accreditation is carried out every three years and is voluntary.

The Accreditation and Simulation Center has been a structural unit of the Amur State Medical Academy since September 1, 2014.
