Women’s Contribution Conference at amurGMA

The contribution of women to the Great Victory was discussed by fifth- and sixth-year students of the Amur State Medical Academy

 


Teachers of the Department of Faculty and Outpatient Therapy organized a student scientific and practical conference, “The Great Contribution of Women to the Great Victory.”

Associate Professor of the Department Olga Mikhailovna Goncharova addressed the students with a welcoming speech.

"The Great Patriotic War determined the fate of many people. The war was a great test for the women of our country, who went through all the hardships and hardships of front-line life," Olga Mikhailovna noted.

Pavel Kuznetsov and Selena Sarvatdinova spoke about women in the military medical service during the war. Victoria Kuznetsova, Maria Prazdnichnykh and Karina Meshkova made a report on women surgeons. Alina Dyatlova recalled the role of female nurses in the Great Patriotic War.

From the report of Pavel Lankin, students learned about the activities of female snipers in the war. Alina Kryukova spoke about women communications workers, and Lyubov Voiko prepared a report on women in the partisan movement.

During the conference, students listened to military songs and read poems about the war. Assistants of the Department of Faculty and Polyclinic Therapy Elena Viktorovna Lobanova and Irina Petrovna Soluyanova made a concluding speech. Also, students, together with teachers, honored the memory of all participants in the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence.
