During the educational and methodological conference

The Amur State Medical Academy hosted an educational and methodological conference "Innovative Teaching Methods in a Medical University-2026". The conference is held annually at the Medical Academy and traditionally becomes a platform for the exchange of experience between university teachers.

The opening speech was made by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Natalia Vladimirovna Loskutova. A total of seven reports were heard.

Svetlana Medvedeva, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education, spoke about the key changes in the organization and implementation of educational activities in additional professional programs.

Associate Professor of the Department of Traumatology with a course of disaster medicine Victoria Viktorovna Zaritskaya made a presentation on "Project Activity of Students as a Modern Method of Teaching".

Irina Anatolyevna Khreshchenok, a lecturer at the Department of Traumatology with a course in disaster medicine, in her speech focused on the methodology of conducting the psychological game "Successful Solution".

Associate Professor of the Department of Histology and Biology Alexey Anatolyevich Perminov drew the attention of the audience to the interdisciplinary approach in the implementation of the additional general education program "Molecular Biology of the Cell with the Basics of Chemistry".

The topic of the report of the Senior Lecturer of the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine Vladimir Sergeevich Oleksik was the role of the accreditation and simulation center in simulation education in Russia.

— Simulation education is moving from local trainings to the creation of a systematic scientifically based environment. The simulation center of the Amur State Medical Academy not only tests the methods, but forms national standards. We are becoming co-authors of the methodology for the development of the industry," said Vladimir Sergeevich.

Vladimir Sergeevich Oleksik also touched upon the topic of artificial intelligence in education. He stressed that at the Rosmed-2025 site, artificial intelligence was considered for the first time as a teacher's working tool, and not an experimental technology. Neural networks help to structure clinical cases, adapt scenarios to the level of students, and generally speed up the teacher's work.

Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education with a course of physical therapy Svetlana Valerievna Reznikova presented the report "Development and implementation of educational quizzes in the educational process".

— The quiz is a modern interactive format of a training session that combines elements of a game, team competition, and knowledge control. This is not a test with questions and answer options, it is a holistic event with rules, dynamics and emotional involvement of all participants. The introduction of quizzes into the methodological arsenal of teachers is a timely and effective step towards increasing the motivation and quality of training of future doctors," explained Svetlana Valerievna.

Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health and Health Care Maria Alexandrovna Ivanova concluded the conference with a report on the topic "Interactive technologies in teaching the history of medicine". Maria Alexandrovna noted that the medical academy uses a modern methodology for teaching the history of medicine. Students take part in interactive excursions, surveys, discussions, role-playing games, and perform creative tasks. Students are actively involved in museological work on the basis of the Museum of History of BSMI-ASMA.

The conference became a platform for discussing topical issues of teaching at a medical university and brought together about 120 listeners.
