"It's very nice to see you all!" The third year is the golden mean, when you have already decided for sure that you will become a doctor. After the third year, you can all get a certificate as part of the exam in propaedeutics of internal diseases and general surgery for the medical activities of nursing staff and work in medical organizations. In addition to salary, this makes it possible to get additional points for admission to residency," said Irina Valentinovna Zhukovets.

Irina Valentinovna also spoke about the state certification and accreditation that awaits students after the end of the sixth year, about the upcoming repairs in the dormitories, the restoration of the building of the Molokan prayer house, plans for the construction of a cardiac surgery clinic.

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Irina Anatolyevna Berdyaeva spoke about mentoring, answered questions about the participation of students in the work of creative, sports, scientific teams of the medical academy.

Vice-Rector for Security Andrey Leonidovich Shelevoy thanked the students for not succumbing to various provocations, answered questions about the delivery of water to the rooms in the dormitories, access control after 23:00.

Vice-Rector for Administrative and Economic Work Maxim Dmitrievich Tsoi shared plans for repairs in dormitories.

"Over the past winter, we have studied all the issues related to interruptions in hot water supply in dormitories No3 and 4. Measures are planned for this summer to eliminate these causes. Heat exchangers will be replaced, money has already been allocated for this, and documentation work will be introduced. This year it is also planned to replace the front door," said Maxim Dmitrievich.

Svetlana Viktorovna Medvedeva, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education, advised students to get involved in social work at the medical academy and think about employment in medical organizations in order to score more points for admission to residency by the sixth year.

— If you work for more than a year and a half by the end of the sixth year, you can get 80 points. If you work for only nine months, you will receive 15 points. If you are medical volunteers, and you have them in your course, you can get an additional 20 points. I advise you to look at all these points on our website and start gaining them now so that in the future it will be easier for you to pass the competition for residency," said Svetlana Viktorovna.

Earlier, a similar meeting was held with fourth-year students, and a meeting with fifth-year students is also scheduled for April 30.
