The annual meeting of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation was held at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. It was attended by 600 vice-rectors for youth policy and educational activities of universities and employees responsible for the implementation of youth policy in branches of educational institutions of higher education, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia reports.

Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova presented to the participants the results of three years of joint work and also outlined plans for the future. She called the formation of an educational environment and human resources one of the key tasks of universities.

"The Vice-Rector for Educational Activities is a unique person who can solve all questions and problems. When people ask me how to get to university, I say that there is one person there who will always tell you how to move forward and take care of all the questions. And I am very grateful to you. It seems to me that over the entire period of our joint activity – and this is more than three years – we have become a large and close-knit family, from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad. We are all human-centric and understand that if there is a question, then we have both the strength and the opportunity to solve it," said Olga Viktorovna.

As Irina Anatolyevna Berdyaeva noted, thematic platforms also worked at the meeting, during the meeting the participants discussed the issues of training foreign students, built guidelines for work in the new academic year.

"Our goal is to create an environment in which it is comfortable to learn and develop skills, to increase the involvement of our students in various activities during their studies at the academy," Irina Anatolyevna shared.
