The Department of Traumatology with the Course of Disaster Medicine summed up the results of the competition "Russia - Unity of Peoples"
The event for students of the Amur State Medical Academy was organized by the teachers of the department Victoria Viktorovna Zaritskaya and Irina Anatolyevna Kreshchenok.
The competition is aimed at preserving the national identity of each nation inhabiting Russia and is timed to coincide with April 30 - the Day of Small Indigenous Peoples of Russia.
Students presented drawings, poems and national costumes of Yakutia and Buryatia to the jury.
"I chose the image of a matryoshka doll for my work. She smiles and her cheeks are rosy, this is a symbol of kindness. In front of the matryoshka ears of wheat, grain develops. The ear is a symbol of unity: one bread is made from small grains, as one country is made from many peoples. The painting says: "We are different, but together," Kirill Vorontsov said about his drawing.
The jury evaluated the works according to several criteria: originality and creativity; relevance to the topic; technical skill; artistic level.
The chairman of the jury was an invited guest - a participant in the special military operation, a volunteer, a representative of the Amur Foundation "Defenders of the Fatherland", a member of the Amur Branch "Combat Brotherhood", Honored Poet of Russia Anatoly Borisovich Shanin.

The jury also included students of the medical academy - fourth-year prefect, vocalist Vladislav Ivashechkin and fourth-year student, screenwriter Artur Semenkov.

The winner in the "Poem" category was Alina Goreva with the work "Survive Together".
"Such a creative competition is held at our department for the first time. We wanted students to reflect their creativity in different nominations, to show their talents. Such events are aimed at developing patriotism and cultural education of the younger generation, revealing the cohesion and strength of the peoples of Russia through real deeds and modern ideas," said Victoria Viktorovna Zaritskaya.
