The VIII International Educational Forum Science and Practice in Medicine has completed its work

The VIII International Educational Forum "Science and Practice in Medicine" has completed its work at the Amur State Medical Academy. It was held for three days, from April 15 to 17. The closing ceremony of the forum took place today in the assembly hall of the theoretical building of the Amur State Medical Academy.

"Such forums are very important and necessary for us to move forward, gain new knowledge, and build new trajectories. And the fact that such conferences are held in the Amur Region, the Olympiad is held in such a non-standard format, is very important both for the region itself and for the medical community of our entire country. The forum was very successful, and I wish you further development and creative success," Irina Dolgina, Head of the Federal Accreditation Center of Kursk State Medical University, addressed the audience.

The forum was attended by more than 50 speakers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kursk, Tomsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Krasnodar and many other cities of Russia, as well as from China, Uzbekistan, Belarus and several other countries. The main topics of discussion were simulation training and accreditation of specialists. In the intensive care of critical conditions, much attention was paid to extracorporeal methods of hemocorrection.

"The forum was just fine. Doctors liked the new format – we received a lot of positive feedback about the fact that this year we reduced the theoretical part and paid more attention to practice and master classes. Also this time, for the first time, the forum program included a section for nursing staff, where reports were presented and a master class on cardiopulmonary resuscitation for nurses was held. In addition, we held a student conference, at which more than ten reports were made, as well as several scientific and medical master classes for students," said Sergey Khodus, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care Resuscitation and Emergency Medical Care of the Amur State Medical Academy.

During the closing ceremony, the audience saw several dance and vocal numbers performed by students of the Amur Medical Academy. Also at the ceremony, the winners of the Olympiad in practical medical skills named after K.V. Pustovit, held within the framework of the forum, were awarded. They were determined in a remote and face-to-face format.

Results of the remote stage:

The winner in the Volunteer Competition nomination is the VRachi team of the future, Bashkir State Medical University, Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa.

3rd place - the team "North-Eastern Federal University named after M. K. Ammosov".

2nd place – Skif Aid team, Kuban State Medical University.

1st place – team kurskmed.com, Kursk State Medical University.

Results of the face-to-face stage:

The winner in the nomination Volunteer Competition is the Avicenna team, Tashkent State Medical University, Tashkent.

The winner in the nomination "Emergency Room" is the team of the Far Eastern State Medical University, Khabarovsk.

Winner in the "Crisis Room" category - Phoenix team, Chita State Medical Academy, Chita.

A team of teachers participating in the forum won the medical quest.

According to the results of all stages of the Olympiad, the prizes were distributed as follows:

3rd place – teamT Ocean Rhythms, Pacific State Medical University, Vladivostok.

2nd place – Region 28 team, Amur State Medical Academy, Blagoveshchensk.

1st place - Phoenix team, Chita State Medical Academy, Chita.
