The annual distribution of sixth-year students took place at the Amur State Medical Academy

The chief physicians of the leading hospitals of the Amur Region and the Far East gathered in the hall of the Academic Council - more than 25 employers in total.

"We are starting the work of the next meeting of the Career Center, within the framework of which we must help our graduates of 2026 in employment. This year we have 275 graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and 41 graduates of the Faculty of Pediatrics," Igor Yuryevich Makarov, Vice-Rector for Continuing Medical Education and Development of Regional Health Care of the Amur State Medical Academy, began the meeting.

Graduates of the Faculty of Medicine after graduating from the Academy can work as district therapists, graduates of the Faculty of Pediatrics can work as district pediatricians, some graduates will go to residency.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the department of personnel management and professional training of the Ministry of Health of the Amur Region Ekaterina Vladimirovna Gerasimenko and the head of the Regional Personnel Center for Health Care Litovchenko Anastasia Alexandrovnaa.

After a short meeting, the long-awaited distribution began.

"The guys went through the adrenaline of the first session, sleepless nights at atlases and practice in the "red zones". Behind them are therapy, surgery, pediatrics and dozens of other disciplines that the students have mastered. Now the most important step: choose your specialization and build your path to medicine. And this is just the beginning of the great history of every graduate of the Amur State Medical Academy! - noted in the Career Center of the Medical Academy.

Many of the guys underwent targeted training and have long decided on their future place of work.

"I am a target student, I came to study at the academy from the city of Tsiolkovsky and will go to work in my hometown," said Daria Pinegina, a graduate of the Amur State Medical Academy.

Ahead of our graduates is the state final certification and the beginning of the path to a successful career in the field of medicine.
