Amur Medical Students Attend Night at the Museum

May 28, 2026

2nd year students visited the "Night at the Museum". It was held in the museum complex of the Far Eastern State Agrarian University. The children saw the Museum of History (Rodnoye in detail), the Museum of Oriental Culture, the Museum of Nature. In addition, as part of the event, an educational quiz was held among the teams of different universities of the city.

"I really liked the event, it included both an educational part and moments where you could distract yourself and laugh. Everything happened in a pleasant atmosphere, I especially liked the weaving of amulets and a mini-tour of one of the buildings, with immersion in the environment and even a trained actor," says 2nd year student Veronika Lvova.

The quiz was attended by teams from the Amur State Medical Academy, BSPU and DalGAU.The team of the Medical Academy, organized and trained by the Department of Traumatology with a course in disaster medicine, included nine people.

"Such interuniversity events help to form communication skills in future specialists. In addition, their value lies in breaking down academic barriers. They make culture accessible by attracting young people," says Victoria Zaritskaya, associate professor of the Department of Traumatology with a course in disaster medicine, "The children did not just look at the windows of museums, but were involved in quests, theatrical performances, performances and master classes. Students got acquainted with history and local history through exciting formats, which is especially valuable in the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia"

Other sophomores also shared their impressions of the event:

Ostapenko Victoria, 222 gr.:

"I liked everything very much. It was interesting to learn about the foundation of Blagoveshchensk - the museum told about it in detail, with old photos, and we were also shown rare artifacts that few people have seen. At the Oriental Jewelry station, we were taught how to weave bracelets from red thread and explained what they meant. And at the end of the event, an interesting quiz awaited us. I would like to once again express my gratitude to the organizers"

Makharadze Liliana, 202 gr:

"To be honest, I didn't even expect it to be so cool! I went to see "Night at the Museum" and I am still impressed. It all started with a master class on weaving Chinese bracelets. This not only calms you down, but also gives you the opportunity to take a piece of the evening with you as a souvenir (your hands are now busy with business).

But the most interesting thing happened next. We were so fascinatingly told about the history of Blagoveshchensk itself! I listened with my mouth open – so many facts that you would not hear in an ordinary lecture.

Of particular interest was in the 2nd Corps. You just stand in the corridor, and you realize: there used to be a seminary here. And Emperor Nicholas II himself walked on the same steps! It is beyond words to feel this connection of times.

And, of course, a separate block about nature. Animals and plants of the Amur Region are our pride.

This is an invaluable experience that dilutes the gray everyday life of classes and notes. Thanks to the university for the organization!"

Alina Lylova:

"I really liked the night tour at the DalGAU Museum. An unusual and interesting evening atmosphere, the museum seemed to open in a new way, because during the day in museums there is usually a different atmosphere, but here it was very unusual, in a special way. I especially remember the location in the building of the Theological Seminary. I had very pleasant impressions from the tour"

Anastasia Kashirskaya:

"We went to the "Night at the Museum" at the Far Eastern State Agrarian University. First, we were shown how to weave Chinese bracelets – this is a very calming and meditative activity.

Then they told about the history of Blagoveshchensk. We went to the 2nd building — there used to be a seminary there, and Tsar Nicholas II himself walked around it. It was very informative to learn more about the plants and animals of the region. Everything is clear, sincere and without boredom. I liked it very much!"
