The III Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Medical Rehabilitation" was held today in Blagoveshchensk on the basis of the City Clinical Hospital. The organizers were the Ministry of Health of the Amur Region and the Amur State Medical Academy.

The conference was attended by specialists directly related to rehabilitation, such as exercise therapists, physiotherapists, reflexologists, as well as doctors of many other specializations - pediatricians, therapists, gerontologists, etc. In addition, specialists from China participated in a remote format, they presented 6 reports.

The conference discussed many topical issues of modern rehabilitation medicine. Specialists from various medical institutions shared the experience of their rehabilitation centers and departments. The prospects for the development of rehabilitation in the Amur Region, the training of rehabilitation doctors, the rehabilitation of patients after various diseases, the use of traditional medicine methods and much more were also discussed.

Very large resources are allocated to equip rehabilitation centers and departments, new, modern equipment is constantly being received, a lot of effort is invested in the training of specialists, - says Elena Molchanova, head of the Department of Public Health and Health Organization of the Amur State Medical Academy, - In addition to the exchange of experience, such conferences are of great importance in the training of future doctors.
