Amur Medical Academy Student Joins Military-Historical Reconstruction on Sakhalin
Ekaterina Gavrikova worked as part of the volunteer corps.
I am a participant in a big event!
On the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation, history came to life on the Kamyshov Pass. A large-scale military-historical reconstruction brought together hundreds of spectators and participants to remind us of the heroic pages of the past.
81 years ago, one of the decisive battles for the liberation of South Sakhalin unfolded here. Reenactors from 12 regions of Russia recreated the assault on the offensive operation.
Before the start of the event, I met volunteers from different municipalities and gave out equipment. During the event, she worked at the reenactment site, helped the participants and watched how the pages of history come to life.
A particularly strong impression was left by the reconstructed battle - with pyrotechnics, authentic weapons and an incredible atmosphere.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of volunteers, the event was organized and safe. Such events show that volunteering unites people of different ages and cities for the sake of a common important cause.
It is a great honor for me to be part of the Volunteers of Victory team and to contribute to the event, which reminds of the courage, resilience and heroism of the defenders of South Sakhalin.
