May 6, 2026

The concert was organized by first, third and fourth year students of the Amur State Medical Academy under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases and the Department of Faculty and Outpatient Therapy. The event was also attended by the heads and employees of the city clinical hospital.

"Today we are celebrating a great national holiday, the greatest holiday of our country. We are proud of our people who were able to withstand the war. We bow our heads to our heroes. Unfortunately, there are very few veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of the rear. I want to say words of gratitude to the medical academy, to our future colleagues. Today you have once again helped us remember our heroes, and as long as we remember our history, our country lives. I wish you all health, happiness to your family and friends and, of course, a peaceful sky above your heads," Alexander Anatolyevich Suchkov, Chief Physician of the Blagoveshchensk City Clinical Hospital, congratulated all those gathered on the upcoming holiday.

At the concert, students sang songs of the war years, read poems by famous poets and works of their own composition, talked about the exploits of military doctors.

"On May 9, our country celebrates the most important and important holiday - Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War. On this day, all the peoples of Russia, all honest people of the Earth bow their heads as a sign of memory of the fallen and gratitude to the living who won this Victory. And remembering this is not only a tribute to history, it is our sacred duty," said Valentyna Ivanovna Pavlenko, Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics, Head of the Department of Faculty and Outpatient Therapy.

Veronika Tushnova's work "Letter" was presented from the stage by Yulia Nikolaevna Tertyshnaya, Deputy Chief Physician for Organizational and Methodological Work of the City Clinical Hospital.

"I sincerely want to thank the organizers of the concert, the students who share their talents with us. The fate of any country is connected, first of all, with the younger generation. Each generation has contributed to the history of our country. We understand that the baton of memory, passed down from generation to generation, is now in your reliable, young student hands, which means that our country will live, develop, prosper, and we will all rejoice together," Svetlana Vladimirovna Naryshkina, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Professor of the Department of Faculty and Outpatient Therapy, addressed the students.
