119 Resident Doctors Complete Training at Amur Academy
A meeting of the commission for the employment of residents was held at the Amur State Medical Academy. It was attended by the head of the personnel department of the Ministry of Health of the Amur Region Ekaterina Gerasimenko, the head of the Regional Personnel Center for Health Care Anastasia Litovchenko, the heads of personnel departments of medical organizations and chief physicians.
119 people are completing their residency this year. Of these, 84 people are state employees, and 35 studied on a paid basis. 48 residents were trained under the target agreement, of which 27 were target residents from health care institutions of the Amur Region.
"We have the largest number of graduates this year in the specialties "Medical Practice (Family Medicine)" - 12 people and "Therapy" - 10 people. 9 residents receive the specialties "Obstetrics and Gynecology" and "Pediatrics", 7 people each complete "Anesthesiology and Resuscitation", "Cardiology" and "Surgery". 6 graduates in the specialty "Neurology", - said the dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education Svetlana Medvedeva, - Most of the residents, 78 people, plan to stay to work in the Amur Region. 37 will go to other regions - Sakhalin, Magadan, Jewish Autonomous Region, Kamchatka. In addition, 4 graduates will remain to work with us, at the Amur State Medical Academy"
This year, for the first time, 10 residents are completing training in professional retraining (psychiatry and narcology, ultrasound, neonatology, oncology, clinical laboratory diagnostics, physical and medical rehabilitation). Thanks to this, after passing accreditation, they will be able to work in two specialties at once.
