The start is given! The first meeting of the SSA "SIMPraktika" in 2026
On January 22, the long-awaited first meeting of the SSS "SIMPraktika" was held, dedicated to the fundamental aspects of emergency and urgent medicine. The meeting combined theory and intensive practice within the walls of the simulation center.
What did you discuss?
Medical triage: We heard a detailed report on the TRIAGE system in case of mass admission of victims. Particular attention was paid to innovations — digital analogues and automated sorting systems that minimize the human factor in chaos.
Mnemonics is our everything: In order for actions to be automatic in a critical situation, we analyzed the key mnemonic rules and checklists that help not to miss important details of the initial examination.
ABCDE vs ATLS: At the stage of theoretical analysis, two "gold standards" were compared. If the differences between the algorithms seemed academic on the slides, then practice put everything in its place.
From theory to practice: The main part of the meeting was the development of skills in the simulation zone. Students conducted two scenarios with a victim after a catatrauma (fall from a height). The participants had not only to recall algorithms but also to make decisions in real time, from fixing the cervical spine to fighting shock.

Soon the qualifying stage of the Olympiad in practical skills and abilities among students of the academy will be announced. Several master classes are planned to prepare for the Olympiad.
