Students of group 419 of the Amur State Medical Academy, under the guidance of the assistant of the Department of Children's Diseases Karine Alexandrovna Harutyunyan, introduced schoolchildren from different schools in the city of Blagoveshchensk to the profession of a doctor. The event was held within the walls of the Children's City Clinical Hospital.

"This is career guidance of a new format: students not only told why "a white coat is cool", they held a master class on medical manipulations for children, organized interactive platforms where children could immerse themselves in the basics of medical practice, said Karine Alexandrovna.

During the lesson, the students mastered the technique of applying various types of bandages; the basics of auscultation – they learned to listen to the sounds of the heart and the breathing of the lungs; rules for providing first aid in case of domestic injuries; The basics of swaddling and newborn care for those who want to try themselves in pediatrics.

"After this lesson, many boys and girls firmly decided to connect their lives with medicine. Personnel for domestic medicine need to be raised from childhood, and our medical students do it perfectly! Karine Arutyunyan added.
