In the Amur State Medical Academy, a meeting was held between the activists of the Student Scientific Society and the Rector's Advisor for Research and Innovative Development Irina Anatolyevna Andrievskaya, the head of the scientific department Anton Sergeevich Abuldinov, the chairman of the scientific society Sergey Vladimirovich Barannikov. The meeting was attended by students of the medical and pediatric faculties from the first to the sixth year.

The chairman of the Student Scientific Society was re-elected and the post of chairman was taken by a sixth-year student Kondrashin Nikita Andreevich. He has experience as the chairman of the SSS in biology, the SSS of the Department of Nervous Diseases, Psychiatry and Narcology, the SSS of the Department of Infectious Diseases with epidemiology and dermatovenereology

The plans of the newly elected chairman of the Student Scientific Society include the restructuring of the existing system of student science in the Amur State Medical Academy. Nikita Andreevich noted that at the moment options are being developed for the formation of courses for the training of research students who will have the skills to work with scientific equipment, use statistical methods and research methodology, write theses and articles at the level of the RSCI and in the future the Higher Attestation Commission, search for opportunities for financial support for their own research work.

Irina Andrievskaya proposed to create a center for collective use with equipment on the basis of the Central Research Laboratory of the Amur State Medical Academy, as well as to develop youth laboratories, a network of departmental scientific circles, joint fundamental and clinical laboratories for students.

Sergey Vladimirovich Barannikov emphasized the importance of publishing students' works in the Amur Medical Journal, as it helps to increase the publication activity of the student, gives additional points when entering residency, and contributes to the formation of a scientific portfolio. Sergey Vladimirovich also outlined the importance of preparing works for the next December conference in foreign languages.

Vitaly Alekseevich Zatvornitsky highlighted the work of the scientific and technical club "Amurmedtech", outlined the plan for further work and the upcoming participation in the Amurtechno-2026 exhibition.
