School Students Visit Amur Medical Academy at AmurExpo

A career guidance event for Blagoveshchensk schoolchildren within the framework of AmurExpo - 2026 was held today at the Amur State Medical Academy. About 50 students of the 8th and 10th grades took part in it.

At the beginning of the meeting, Daria Khlybova, Head of the Youth Policy Department, made a short presentation to the students. In it, she spoke about how the studies are going, what children can become after graduation, what advantages and opportunities are provided to students, as well as about the rich youth life at the academy.

After the presentation, the students were divided into groups and visited four interactive sites prepared for them. They learned about the rules for applying bandages, got acquainted with the simplest surgical sutures and instruments, mastered the skills of basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation and learned how to measure blood pressure correctly. At each site, everyone could try to apply the knowledge gained in practice.

The event aroused keen interest among schoolchildren, they actively participated in interactives and asked many questions. Some children, according to them, have already decided that in the future they want to connect their lives with medicine.
