May 25, 2026

The conference was held under the guidance of Professor of the Department N. Aryshkina S.V., Associate Professors of the Department Tanchenko O.A. and Goncharova O.M., Assistant Lobanova E.V.

— This topic is very relevant at the moment, since burnout syndrome is one of the most common problems in the healthcare sector. Constant stress, high emotional load and insufficient support can negatively affect the health of not only patients, but also medical workers, their professional effectiveness and the quality of care provided to patients. Understanding the causes and consequences of emotional burnout will help in the development of effective strategies to support specialists," the Department of Faculty and Outpatient Therapy notes.

Student of group 611 Bazueva N.D. considered the relevance of chronic stress as the basis of emotional burnout. Belyaeva A.V. and Yakovenko A.V. (group 611) considered the etiology, history of the study of the emotional burnout syndrome, and statistics of prevalence among medical workers. The audience learned about the multifactorial nature of the syndrome under study: why prolonged emotional stress combined with high responsibility and a lack of recovery naturally leads to exhaustion and reduction of professional achievements.

Students of group 612 Verkhovykh E.N. and Khotulev V.A. drew the attention of the audience to the main symptoms and stages of emotional burnout, presented an overview of validated techniques, and also told what early symptoms the doctor himself should pay attention to even before burnout turns into somatic complications.

Then the baton was taken by students of group 511. Zhakinov A.T. spoke with the key topic "Treatment of emotional burnout syndrome". Indications for changing the work regimen, indications for psychotherapy, pharmacological support were announced. The final report "Prevention of emotional burnout syndrome" was presented by Burundukova A.A., group 511.

"The audience learned not only about the general principles of prevention (correction of sleep and rest patterns, search for hobbies), but also about self-help techniques that can be used right during the work shift: micropauses, breathing exercises, cognitive division of responsibility, and others. The importance of these activities should not be underestimated, since taking care of the psycho-emotional health of employees contributes to their motivation, improving the quality and productivity of the work performed," the teachers of the department note.
