Indian students of the Amur State Medical Academy completed their summer practice in medical institutions of the country

1610 students of the medical academy from the first to the fifth year completed their summer medical practice or internship.

More than half of the guys - 885 students - underwent practical training in Blagoveshchensk. Future doctors worked out their knowledge in clinics, hospitals, and at the ambulance station of Blagoveshchensk.

The Amur Region (238 students) and the Republic of Tyva (101 students) are the next largest in terms of number. They, together with Blagoveshchensk, account for over 75% of all students.

A number of regions are represented by single students (Irkutsk Region, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, etc.), which reflects a point set or target quotas.

First-year students and students from India, studying at the Amur State Medical Academy in an English-language program, immersed themselves in practical medicine as assistants to ward and procedural nurses. Students took care of patients, helped with hygienic procedures, and learned to keep medical records.

Students from the third to the fifth year performed the duties of assistant doctors of hospitals and outpatient clinics.

In practice, students of the Amur State Medical Academy were supervised by more than 20 teachers of the Academy.
