English-Program Medical Students Complete Clinical Internship in Russia

"Practice for obtaining primary professional skills and abilities in the position of paramedical personnel. Assistant Ward Nurse" ended with foreign students of the Amur State Medical Academy studying in the English-language program. It was held from June 23 to July 20 on the basis of the Amur Regional Clinical Hospital under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases. During the internship, students provided general care for patients, performed the necessary manipulations and worked with medical documentation. Particular attention was paid to the development of not only professional skills, but also human qualities - attentiveness, patience, the ability to communicate with patients and work in a team, which is an integral part of the medical profession.

In the process of internship, foreign students were assisted by mentors - 1st and 2nd year students of the Amur State Medical Academy. They helped in communication with staff and patients, medical documentation, as well as in solving organizational issues.

"The completion of the internship was an important stage in my professional path. It was an invaluable experience that gave me deep knowledge and confidence in my own abilities. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership of the academy and the teaching staff for the highest level of training, as well as to the entire staff of the hospital - doctors, nurses and medical staff - for their patience, professionalism and sensitivity. "My practice has been one of the most valuable and inspiring experiences. Despite the initial difficulties, we quickly adapted to working in real clinical settings. This time taught me that medicine requires not only knowledge, but also sincere compassion. I am deeply grateful to the teachers for the foundation laid before the practice, and to our mentors, who have become a reliable support for us. I also sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and all the staff of the department for their warmth, daily advice and willingness to share their skills. This experience will forever remain in my memory as the most important step towards the goal of becoming a doctor," said 1st year student Shagufta Ferdows.

"At the end of my internship, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported and guided me. Many thanks to our teachers for their inspiration and desire to improve in medicine. I am deeply grateful to all the hospital staff, nurses and mentors for their patience, kindness and constant support – thanks to you, I have gained confidence in my abilities. This period of study was an unforgettable experience that I will always remember with warmth and gratitude," 1st year student Mokaria Pratik Parbat shared his impressions.

The practice gave future specialists the opportunity to feel the responsibility and importance of their work, as well as to gain confidence in their own abilities.
