Amur State Medical Academy Hosts Therapy 2 Session at International Student Scientific Conference

The meeting of the section Therapy 2 was held within the framework of the 78th Final Student Scientific Conference with international participation of the Amur State Medical Academy. The program of the section covered a wide range of topical issues of modern diagnostics and therapy of internal diseases, including hematology, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology and oncology. At the meeting, 9 oral reports on the results of the research work of students were heard, as well as poster presentations were considered.

Much attention was paid to complex clinical cases and interdisciplinary research, which were prepared by 5th and 6th year students under the guidance of scientific mentors - employees of the Department of Hospital Therapy with a course of pharmacology named after Professor Y.S. Landyshev. A report was presented in English (Qi Wang, Harbin Medical University) on the risk of infections in lung transplant recipients.

The head of the section, Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy with the Course of Pharmacology named after Professor Y.S. Landyshev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Valery Voitsekhovsky during the meeting focused on the fact that the research work of students during training helps to master the methodology of scientific research, form mentoring connections, master the rules of scientific etiquette and presentation skills. At the end of the meeting, he thanked the students and supervisors for the work done. Each report is the result of intellectual work, discipline and the desire to deepen professional knowledge.
