Amur State Medical Academy students teaching schoolchildren about healthy nutrition during the Dictation of Health campaign

Amur Medical Students Promote Healthy Eating Habits

May 27, 2026

On the eve of the summer holidays, three meetings were held at school No22 in the city of Blagoveshchensk for schoolchildren of the first and second grades, dedicated to the formation of a healthy lifestyle. Conversations about proper nutrition were in the spotlight.

The events were organized and conducted by Elena Sundukova, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Health and Healthcare, therapist of the polyclinic of the Clinic of Cardiac Surgery, and fourth-year students of the Faculty of Medicine as part of the All-Russian campaign "Dictation of Health".

The children listened with interest about how important it is to take care of your diet, why you need to eat more vegetables and fruits, drink enough water and avoid harmful products. The children discussed with interest how proper nutrition helps to be energetic, strong and study well.

Particular attention was paid to food hygiene and food safety issues - this knowledge is relevant before the summer season.

The meeting was held in a lively and interactive form: children asked questions, shared their habits and even made up a "perfect breakfast". At the end, each participant received a memo with simple tips for healthy eating.

Such events help to form a conscious attitude to children's health and lay the foundations for good habits for life.

The Health Dictation 2026 campaign is an all-Russian educational initiative aimed at forming knowledge among children and adolescents about a healthy lifestyle, including the importance of a balanced diet and physical activity. In 2026, the second stage of the campaign is dedicated to the theme "Movement is Life. Let's eat right."
