Third-year students under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases Elena Vladimirovna Magalias and Irina Vasilievna Sklyar visited the only memorial museum-workshop in the Far East, dedicated to the People's Artist of Russia, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honorary Citizen of the city of Blagoveshchensk Alexander Evgenievich Tikhomirov, who founded a new direction in painting - window painting.
Students got acquainted with the creative heritage of the outstanding master, whose name is firmly inscribed in the history of domestic and world art; saw the artist's original paintings in different techniques, revealing the versatility of his talent; heard about the history of the creation of iconic works, about the biography of the painter and the history of his creative path and plunged into the unique atmosphere of the creative workshop.
In the memorial space with an area of 46.8 square meters, there are about six and a half thousand items, including rare documents, paintings, the famous window painting, pencil drawings, personal belongings, photographs, a library, paintings by Tikhomirov's friends - People's Artists of Russia, antique furniture, awards.
"The tour made a deep impression on the students, they learned a lot of new things for themselves. A visit to the museum forms a sense of patriotism, pride in the cultural heritage of the native land, contributes to the spiritual and moral development of the younger generation. The continuation of the cultural program and a pleasant end to the day was a joint visit to the pyshechnaya - where, over a cup of tea in a warm company, the children were able to discuss the masterpieces they saw and share their emotions," says Elena Vladimirovna Magalyas.
