Applicants from India have begun entrance exams for admission to the Amur State Medical Academy, marking an important step for students planning Russia MBBS admission 2026. 

Today, 26 candidates are taking the chemistry examination, which is conducted in the form of a test consisting of 50 questions.

“Relations and cooperation with representatives of India at our university have been established for a long time. An agreement was signed with an Indian company, according to which, at the expense of the Indian side, students will be trained at the Amur Medical Academy. Training for them will be conducted in English. Since last year, the teaching staff has focused on improving their language skills and translating all related methodological documentation into English. We are confident that we will conduct the upcoming academic year with dignity. The students will appreciate our capabilities and the quality of education, and in the future, we will be happy to welcome an even larger number of Indian applicants,” said Elena Maslova, Head of the International Relations Department of the Amur State Medical Academy.

The growing participation of Indian applicants reflects the increasing demand for MBBS in Russia without donation, as Russian medical universities offer transparent admission procedures based on entrance examinations rather than capitation fees. This makes Russia an attractive destination for students seeking quality education at an affordable cost.

In total, this year the medical academy is ready to admit 50 applicants from India. In addition to chemistry, candidates must also pass an entrance examination in biology. Entrance exams will continue until the end of October, and from November 1, successful candidates will officially begin their studies.
