Career Guidance Meetings with School Students in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) by the Best MBBS University in Russia

Nadezhda Ambrosyeva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Anatomy and Operative Surgery, is actively conducting career guidance meetings with school students in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Such initiatives help students learn about medical education at one of the best MBBS universities in Russia.

Recently, she visited the International Arctic School in Yakutsk, where she conducted an anatomy master class for students of chemistry and biology streams. The school is considered one of the best in Yakutia and admits students through a competitive selection process. It has modern classrooms, a campus, a large library, a sports complex with a swimming pool, a planetarium, a music studio, and many other advanced facilities.

During the visit, Nadezhda Ambrosyeva showed informative videos about Amur State Medical Academy, which is recognized among the best medical universities in Russia. She answered students’ questions related to admission procedures and medical training and conducted a master class on the topic “Human Nervous System.”

Meetings with Medical Class Students

In addition, at the Center for Advanced Vocational Training of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Nadezhda Ambrosyeva held a career guidance meeting with students of the medical class from a school in Nizhny Bestyakh, as well as with senior students from Maya and Pavlovsk who are preparing for the Unified State Exam in biology and chemistry.

She introduced these students to the academic life and opportunities at Amur State Medical Academy, counted among the top MBBS colleges in Russia, and also conducted practical master classes to spark interest in medical studies.

This year, 123 students of the 10th and 11th grades from all over the region completed their studies in specialized classes. These are schoolchildren from lyceums No11 and 6, gymnasium No25, secondary schools in Blagoveshchensk, Tambov and Ivanovo districts.

Two teams of the Amur State Medical Academy took part in the qualifying stage of the All-Russian Scientific School "Young Medicine". Under the mentorship of the project manager Victoria Zaritskaya, the guys defended their work at a regional pitch session in an online format on the basis of the Pacific State Medical University.
