This year, 41 graduates of the Faculty of Pediatrics are leaving the walls of the medical academy.

"There are three examination commissions at the exam, which include teachers of the Amur State Medical Academy and representatives of practical health care - a total of 25 people. The exam includes answers to four tasks: pediatric surgery, pediatric diseases, infectious diseases in children, and related specialties. The exam also includes test tasks that allow you to assess the level of development of general cultural and general professional competencies of graduates," said the Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics, Head of the Department of Faculty and Outpatient Therapy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Valentina Ivanovna Pavlenko.

Representatives of practical health care noted the good training of students of the Amur State Medical Academy.

"The level of training of graduates is good, a number of students demonstrate excellent results. The Faculty of Pediatrics is always famous for the high level of training of its graduates. Of course, in addition to the knowledge gained within the walls of the Academy, empathy and love for young patients will help graduates who have chosen the work of a pediatrician in practical activities," says Ruslan Alekseevich Belous, Chairman of the Examination Commission, Chief Physician of the Amur Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, Pediatric Surgeon, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Chief Freelance Pediatric Surgeon of the Ministry of Health of the Amur Region, Doctor of the Highest Category.

The students themselves, as always, were worried, but confidently coped with the exam tasks.

"I was worried before entering the classroom, but when I saw the ticket, I realized that I knew the answers. I came across problems about acute appendicitis, whooping cough, non-rheumatic myocarditis in a child a little over a year old and acute otitis. I plan to study further, I will apply for residency and, of course, I want to work as a district pediatrician to gain experience," said Ksenia Koneva, a graduate of the Amur State Medical Academy.
