Amur State Medical Academy Hosts Interregional Conference on Modern Problems of Hematology

Within the framework of the meeting, three symposia were held: "Plasma cell dyscrasias: yesterday, today, tomorrow", "Chronic leukemia. Problems and Solutions", "Actual Problems of Modern Hematology". Master classes were also held on the topics "Complex Hematological Patient", "Modern Options for the Treatment of Acute Leukemia", "Modern Approaches to the Treatment of Multiple Myeloma" with an analysis of clinical cases.

The speakers of the conference were specialists in the field of hematology from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk.

At the opening of the conference, the Acting Rector of the Amur State Medical Academy, Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences Irina Valentinovna Zhukovets addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcoming speech. Irina Valentinovna thanked the organizers of the conference - the Department of Hospital Therapy with the Course of Pharmacology named after Professor Y.S. Landyshev of the Amur State Medical Academy in the person of the head, chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Scientific Medical Society of Therapists, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Valery Vladimirovich Voitsekhovsky, and also wished good luck to the participants of the event.

"Dear colleagues, we are very glad to see you in the Far East. Hematology is one of the most mysterious and very beautiful professions. I wish you a successful conference, let each of you take a piece of hematology with you, fall in love with this profession a little.

Valentina Zakharovna Molostvova, chief freelance hematologist of the Far Eastern Federal District from the city of Khabarovsk, noted that the conference on hematology has long been loved by all specialists in the Far East.

— The conference has already become a good tradition for us. The entire Far East comes to Blagoveshchensk, supports its work, and participates with pleasure. It is useful for hematologists because it helps to keep abreast of modern problems of hematology.

The conference was opened with a report by the doctor of the hematology department of the Amur Regional Clinical Hospital, Candidate of Medical Sciences Ekaterina Alexandrovna Filatova on the topic "New options for the treatment of DLBCL".

Further, Valery Alexandrovich Ionin, Professor, Senior Researcher of the Research Institute of Cardiovascular Health of the National Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases of the National Research Center for Cardiovascular Diseases, Head of the Department of Hospital Therapy with a Course of Allergology and Immunology named after Academician Chernorutsky with the Clinic of the First St. Petersburg State Medical University named after Academician I.P. Pavlov, made a report on the topic "AL-amyloidosis and heart failure: hemodynamic features, predictors of prognosis and therapy with NGLT-2".

In total, within the framework of the conference, the participants listened to and discussed 19 reports.
